Bourneville College Photography Student Awards
The hard work of learners enrolled on the NCFE Level 2 Certificate in Photography qualification has been rewarded at the Bournville College Photography Student Exhibition.
The exhibition was full of creative pieces ready to wow the invited guests. Our Business Development Officer, Emma King, was invited to select the winners of the NCFE category for Best in Show.
The lucky winner was Simon Boothe, selected because of the technical creativity he'd shown in his piece (pictured left.) A close second was Becky Hunt, whose piece was chosen due to the story her picture conveyed. Prizes included a £50 and a £25 Jessops voucher, provided by NCFE.
Both learners were studying the NCFE Level 2 Certificate in Photography, the ideal qualification for those with a basic understanding of the techniques and processes used in either digital or film photography, who wish to develop their skills. The qualification can be offered as a stand-alone programme in school, colleges or adult education or can be offered to add value to other qualifications being delivered at a centre.
Emma King, NCFE Business Development Officer for the region, said: "The exhibition was a resounding success and NCFE would like to again congratulate Simon and Antonia, and indeed all of the students that completed the NCFE Level 2 Certificate in Photography."
