Train to Gain


Train to Gain is a Government initiative aimed at improving the skills of employees as a route to improving business performance.

 

The benefits of Train to Gain:

¨      It offers employees the opportunity to improve their skills and gain recognised qualifications.

¨      By providing employees with training and formal qualifications, the business will directly benefit through increased productivity and an improvement in business performance.

¨      Investing in employees will also make them feel valued and will increase morale, leading to an improvement in staff retention rates.

 

Train to Gain is becoming increasingly flexible with even more opportunities for you to offer our qualifications. The following NCFE qualifications are eligible for Train to Gain funding:


Leisure, Travel and Tourism

  • Level 2 Certificate in Airport Operations
  • Level 2 Certificate in Travel and Tourism
  • Level 3 Certificate for the Outdoor Industry
  • Level 2 and 3 NVQs in Spectator Safety
  • Level 2 NVQ in Instructing Exercise and Fitness
  • Level 3 NVQ in Instructing Physical Activity and Exercise.

 

Health, Public Services and Care

  • Level 2 and 3 Certificates for Entry to the Uniformed Services
  • Level 2 NVQ in Advice and Guidance Support
  • Level 3 NVQ in Advice and Guidance
  • Level 2 NVQ in Cleaning and Support Services
  • Level 2 and 3 NVQs in Health and Social Care
  • Level 2 NVQ in Providing Security Services.


Education and Training

  • Level 2 Extended Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools.


Arts, Media and Publishing

  • Level 2 Extended Diploma in Radio Production
  • Level 2 Extended Diploma in Music Business
  • Level 2 Diploma in Interactive Media and Animation
  • Level 3 Extended Diploma in Business for the Creative Industries.

 

Business, Administration and Law

  • Level 2 and 3 NVQs in Customer Service.
