QCF timetables
Our portfolio of qualifications on the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) is growing rapidly and we’re working hard to have all our qualifications available on the QCF by the end of 2010.
In order to keep you up to date on the latest developments, we've created a QCF timetable for each sector to let you know when our qualifications will be available on the new framework.

Qualifications update- new qualifications
Good news! The following new qualifications are now available:
Level 3 Certificate in Diabetes Awareness
We've developed a new National Partnership Award with Tribal, specialist publishers of high quality distance learning materials. The NCFE Level 3 Certificate in Diabetes Awareness is an ideal award for those working in the Health and Care sector who wish to increase their awareness of diabetes in order to support their clients.
It outlines the principles of diabetes and also discusses how to manage the condition, with diet, exercise and attitude. The course also looks at social issues around diabetes, such as job discrimination, and explores prevention, complications and care.

Level 3 NVQ in Witness Care
This qualification has been developed and supported by Skills for Justice, the Sector Skills Council (SSC) for this qualification. It's suitable for candidates working in or towards a range of employment opportunities in the justice sector including the police force or community/social work.

We're working closely with the Sector Skills Councils (SSCs) Skills for Health and Skills for Care and Development to support their plans for the transition of qualifications to the QCF.
Public Services
New Qualifications
The following qualification is now available:
Level 2 Certificate in Skills for Supporting Public Services
This qualification covers a mixture of customer service and other relevant skills and knowledge as well a knowledge and understanding of the public sector service ethos which forms a backdrop to the job roles they perform.

Great news!
The Level 1, 2 and 3 Diploma for Entry to the Uniformed Services qualifications have now been accredited and are now live
The Qualification Accreditation Numbers are:
Level 1 Diploma for Entry to the Uniformed Services (500/1178/4)
Level 2 Diploma for Entry to the Uniformed Services (500/1179/6)
Level 3 Diploma for Entry to the Uniformed Services (501/1307/0)
